SAILORS' HOSTEL
On the recommendation of the bylaws committee, the Wellington City Council last evening approved an application from the British Sailors' Society for permission to convert its building in Brandon Street into a hostel and club for sailors, on conditions imposed by the City Engineer. Dispensation from full compliance with the bylaws was granted.
