Government House, Wellington, September 24. Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Herrick have arrived at Government House.
At Government House this morning his Excellency the Governor-General handed privately to Mr. and Mrs. E. J. Herrick, ..of Hastings, the bar to the D.F.C. awarded to their son, the late Squadron Leader M. J. Herrick, D.F.C., Royal Air Force.
Commissioner J. Evan Smith, territorial commander of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, who has been, on a visit to South Africa, returned to Wellington today. ,
