MORE DAYLIGHT
■ Sir, —I cannot .let "Tram Chaser's" remarks regarding more daylight go without adding my support for him. As he states, let the people who want more daylight get up two hours earlier and not let the daylight go begging then they will see what tramway men, dairy men, and railwaymen have to put up with in having another halfi hour's darkness foisted on to them. As Great Britain reverts to normal time in October next, I hope that New Zealand will follow suit and not try to get ! more of which is impossible because what you gain on the swings you lose on the round-about. —I am, etc., JIM THE MILKER.
