TANGIER DECISION
INTERNATIONAL ZONE
! LONDON, September 4. General Franco has been told that he must withdraw his troops from the international zone of Tangier which was occupied by them in June, 1940. British, American, Russian, and French representatives decided this at their conference in Paris. Their decision was given to the Spanish Government today by the British Ambassador and the French diplomatic representative in Madrid. The leader of the United States delegation at the" conference on Tangier said today: "The conference has been a most successful example of how nations can nieet and deal with the problems of the world. Each of the delegates displayed a marked spirit of co-operation."
