LAND SALES
GOVERNMENT M.P.'S QUESTION
A notice of question by Mr. R. McKeen (Government, Wellington South) in the House of Representatives yesterday asked the Minister of Lands whether his attention had been drawn to the long delays of the land sales committees and the Court in arriving at decisions in the purchase and sales of properties referred to them. Mr. McKeen also inquired whether the Minister would, in order to reduce those unnecessary delays, give immediate consideration to the appointment of more valuers and experienced men in the working of the Land Sales Act.
