BRITISH LION TYPIFIED
The National Party typified the spirit of the British lion standing up four-square to growing dictatorship in New Zealand, said the Leader of the* Opposition (Mr. Holland) last night, when replying to the statement by the Prime Minister (Mr. Fraser) in Christchurch that the "Tory wolf had donned Labour's clothes."
"It is somewhat amusing to read the Prime Minister's statement about 'the Tory wolf having donned Labour's clothes and lying in the Labour bed," said Mr. Holland. "For a long time they used to allege that we had no policy at all, saye that we would cut wages and pensions. As no one believed that charge, Mr. Fraser and his friends now allege that we have stolen their policy, donned their clothes, and are lying in Labour's bed. That statement in Christchurch will deceive very few. "Fortunately the radio enables the people of New Zealand to hear the very strong case the Parliamentary Opposition consistently puts ' forward in defence of the personal liberty of the individual and its advocacy of higher living standards by increasing the supply of goods from which all the people must draw their supplies," add-
