Rec. 9 a.m. WASHINGTON, Sept. 3. The United States war losses in Europe and the Pacific were 252,885 killed, 651,218 wounded, 43,969 missing, and 122,747 taken prisoner.
The war cost 287,181,000,000 dollars. A total of 10,300,000 workers was employed in the munitions industry.
