WORK TO CEASE
LONDON, September 2. The Anglo-American Co-ordinating Committee in Ankara, which since 1941 has recommended the quantities of essential civil supplies required to maintain Turkish economy and assist Turkey to resist German penetration, is ceasing its work on September 9. The Board of Trade has announced that the future control over the export of scarce commodities would be exercised directly by London and Washington. _
