RESISTANCE IN HARBIN
Eec 11.10 a.m. MOSCOW, Sept. 2. Russian tommy-gunners, assisted by Koreans, cleaned out a brewery at Harbin, which was found to be a hideout for Japanese snipers. A Japanese Fascist in another part of the city, shooting from a window of his house, murdered a Russian officer. The Fascist's wife later killed several Chinese and one Russian girl.
