VISITING SERVICEMEN
Arrangements for visiting servicemen in Wellington on Sunday are announced by the hon. secretary of the Wellington Metropolitan Patriotic Committee (Mr. Vincent Ward) as follows: —On arrival a reception with refreshments is being held at 9 a.m. at the R.S.A. Clubrooms, Victoria Street, arranged by the A.I.F. Association, who have also arranged for a number of cars to take servicemen to private homes. In addition buses will be -in attendance to take a number for a picnic in the country. Servicemen are also to be guests of the A.N.A. Club, 33 Willis Street, and the Allied Services Club,' Manners ' Street, and other private hospitality clubs. They may also obtain shower baths at the Combined Services Hostel, 93 Dixon Street. • The management of the St. James Theatre, invite visiting servicemen to be their guests for the screening at 8.15 p.m. on Sunday, and the management of the Tivoli Theatre invite them as guests to their Sunday afternoon and evening screenings.
