DISPERSAL PLANS
Arrangements are being made for* the troops arriving from overseas tomorrow morning to be dispatched to their homes as expeditiousiy as possible. Many of the men, other than those whose homes are in Wellington, will be leaving for their destinations tomorrow. Amongst those to disembark early will be a South Island draft of £65 for Christchurch and other southern towns. These returned servicemen are to travel south by the Wahine, which will make a daylight trip for the purpose, leaving as soon as the men are transferred. Drafts of 20 for the Wairarapa and 78 for Taranaki will also leave tomorrow morning, travelling by bus. The 58 for Poverty Bay and Hawke's Bay are to leave by the Napier express on Monday, until when they will be accommodated at the Casualty Clearing Station. Those for Nelson and Marlborough, numbering 34, .will leave by the Pieton ferry steamer on Monday, and those for Manawatu and Auckland, totalling 357, will leave at 3 p.m. tomorrow afternoon. Lunch for the Auckland-Manawatu draft is to be provided in the railway station dining-room.
