WELLINGTON V. AUCKLAND
The first of this season's two Auck-land-Wellington Rugby matches is to ,be played at Auckland on Saturday. With the inclusion of D. D. Beard in the Wellington fifteen, through G. Wales not being available, A. Marshall was chosen as the emergency forward, but, on account of a leg injury, he has now been replaced by Henderson (Athletic). The teams for the match Wellington.—Wishnowsky (Army); Jamieson (Athletic), Morrison (Onslow), Abbott (Petone); Jaffray (Navy), Colquhoun (Army); Goldstone (Wellington College Old Boys); White (Army)? Beard and Elliott. (W.C.0.8.), Bowman (Wellington), Calcinai (Poneke-Oriental), Palmer (Eastbourne), and Burke and ODonnell (Army). Emergencies, Wickham and Henderson (Athletic). Auckland.—Sorenson; Dunn, McKay, Grace; Rae, Barchard; Tetzlaff; Christian, Smith, McHugh, Taylor Gunning Pearce, Johnson, Waldegrave; emergencies, Sinel, Schubert, Gilmour, Edwards, and Bourke. Mr. E. D. Hill, who controlled the North-South match last Saturday, has been appointed referee. Most of the members of the Wellington team left for Auckland this afternoon. _^___
