COUNTERFEITING CHARGED Rec. 10 a.m. LONDON, August 29. Thirty-five Frenchmen suspected by the police of being implicated in a huge counterfeiting racket, involving hundreds of millions of francs, have been arrested, says the Associated Press correspondent in Paris. One suspect was arrested after gun battles in his suburban home in Paris. His garage contained £37,500 sterling worth of fake, francs. One of the gang confessed to turning out £425,000 sterling worth of fake notes in six hours.
