A.J.C. DERBY AND EPSOM
(By Telegraph—Press Association—Conyrinltt) SYDNEY, August 29. Permission has been granted the Australian Jockey Club to race on Monday, October 1, and the Spring Meeting has now been rearranged. The Derby, for three-year-old colts and fillies, U miles, and the Epsom Handicap, for three-year-olds and upwards, 1 mile, will be run on the opening day, September 29, and the Metropolitan Handicap, for three-year-olds and upwards, 1 mile and 5 furlongs, on October 1.
