At the annual meeting of the St. Andrew Burns Club the following officers were elected: —President, Mr. D. N. Keith; senior vicepresident, Mr. W. Simpson; junior vice-presi-dent, slr. J. Torrance; past president, Mr. J. G. MacKenzio; secretary, Miss B. Clark; treasurer, Mr. ,T. R. Baird; committee, Mesdames A. McLean, W. Simpson, W. MacKenzie, Messrs. A. McLean, A. L. Robertson, J. Kinnear; song leader, Mr. W. Simpson; official pianist, Mrs. L. Tuckwdl; official piper, Miss .T. Brodie; auditor, Mr. J. L. Steel; delegates to Wellington Association of Scots Societies, Messrs. A. L. Robertson, W. Simpson, and I). N. Keith.
Mr. T. D. Lewis, of Wellin£ton- was presented with the Railway Officers' Institute Service Medallion, "for particularly meritorious service," at the golden jubilee reunion of the institute on Saturday evening.
