NEW DUTCH GOVERNMENT
LONDON. June 24. Professor William Schermerhorn and Mr Will Drees have announced that they have formed a new Dutch Government, in which Professor Schermerhorn will be Prime Minister, says an Amsterdam correspondent. Mr Drees will be Minister for Social Affairs. Mr: •J. H. A. Logemann will be Minister of Overseas Territories. Mr. Van Kleffens remains Foreign Minister. . . Professor Schermerhorn, in addition to the Prime Ministership, will be Minister responsible for co-ordinating the Dutch effort for the Far Eastern war. Professor Schermerhorn played a prominent part in resistance and the Germans at one period detained him in a camp for hostages.
