The Americans, with flame-throwers, stormed a giant coastal cave near Mabuni, on the south-east coast today, says the United Press correspondent on Okinawa. They were trying to smoke out the Japanese commander. The ridge overlooking the cave is littered with enemy dead, including girls in uniform.
