STREET DAY FOR ANGLICAN HOMES
To assist in providing for a family of some 250 babies, boys and girls, a street collection will be held in Weir lington on Wednesday, June 27, for Anglican Children's Homes in Wellington. This big family has to meet all the expenses and encounter all the difficulties of private homes —maintenance of buildings, provision of clothing, food, and fuel. The wartime needs are, of course, much greater than formerly, and an appeal is made to the public to give liberally and thus help to maintain the standard of training, care, and comfort aimed at in this Christian social service.
