FISHERMEN ON SHORE
P.A. DUNEDIN, June 22. Members of the Port Chalmers Fishermen's Society, who for the past two weeks have been operating under protest, again decided to cease fishing as from tomorrow. Mr. A. J. Black, president of the Fishermen's Committee, said the Price Tribunal promised to gazette a revised price order yesterday. This had not been done and ttie fishing fleet had no alternative but to stand idle. "It is absolutely impossible for us to continue under the price order," said Mr. Black. "Every boat in the fleet after a fair trial of the order had shown a loss."
