CANBERRA, May 31. Since the CommonAvealth Government has announced its decision that after August 31 next Australian banknotes over £10 will cease to be legal tender, the Government is being urged to cancel the three months' time limit. It is felt that the long time limit Avill enable tax evaders and black marketers to dispose of their illgotten notes without embarrassment, thus defeating the purpose of the neAv National Security Regulation.
