NEISSE CROSSINGS

LONDON, February 27. The German radio says the Russians have made two crossings of the Neisse Riyer near Forst, 65 miles south-east of Berlin. * The Germans also say that fierce battles are raging round Konigsberg, while the Russians claim to have captured another 15 blocks of houses m savage fighting in the'lower Silesian capital of Breslau
More than 1000 Germans were killed and 300 taken prisoner in street fighting m Breslau in 24 hours, said a supplementary Russian communique which announced that the Russians had occupied Hmdenburg Square and the Breslau tram depot.
