SYDNEY, February 28. The deputy-director for requirements and supplies in UNRRA's South-west Pacific area office, Dr. Walter A. ChudI son. will leave Sydney on Tuesday oa a short visit to New Zealand. He will discuss there with Government officials procedures under which New Zealand's contribution of £2,600,000 to UNRRA will be used for relief purposes. It is expected that the UNRRA procurement in New Zealand, which will account for "at least 90 per cent, of her contribution, will include certain surplus war-.stocks, and, later on, basic primary products which form the main part of ,the Dominion's exports. Negotiations similar, to those Dr. Chudson will conduct in New 'Zealand have been undertaken recently on the utilisation of the .contribution of £12,000,000- voted by the Australian Parliament. Most of the major United Nations whose territory has not been invaded have already made their contributions to UNRRA, : each equivalent, like those of Australia and New Zealand, to 1 per cent, of- the contributing country's national"." income. The total fund to be, made available to UNRRA is estimated at from 180.000,000 to 200,000,000 United States dollars. . " ■
