CHAMPIONSHIP BOWLS
HUTT PAIR'S WIN
Tho Hutt pair, Mclntyre and Hadwin, won the flnal of the Wellington Bowling Centre's championship pairs tournament yesterday afternoon when tho 'semi-final and flnal were played on tho Hutt green. Brilliant bowling was seen in tlie- final. In winning the event, both Mclntyre and Hadwin qualified for the centre's gold medal, which is given to bowlers who win five of the centre's championships.
Results are as follows:—
Semi-finals.—Mclntyre and Hadwin (Hutt) 21, Clark and Luke (Victoria) 10; Williams and Sherwood (Seatoun) 24, Devine and Hunter (Petone) 12.
Final.—Mclntyre and Hadwin 19, Williams and Sherwood 18.
