"A CUCKOO IN THE NEST."
Tho funds of Heritage (Wellington) Inc., .should benefit greatly from the presentation of the Ben Travers farce, "A Cuckoo in the Nest," to be given in the Town Hall Concert Chamber for a four-night season commencing on Wednesday. .March 7. "Cuckoo" is considered to be the best of the famous Aklwych farces, and is being presented by tho Wellington Repertory Theatre's Senior Camp Entertainers, under the direction of Klsie Lloyd. This hand of players has been entertaining the men of tho forces in the Wellington district since the early days of tlie war nnd. has visited Linton and Waiouru on two occasions, their most successful shows to date being 'l<resh Fields" and "Indoor Fireworks." A Cuckoo in the Nest" was played ln St. Irancis Hall last Xovember for Repertory members and their friends, and was a tremendous success. Its first performance in a military camp will be given next week. Those taking part are Ngaire Horton, Irene Spidv, Mollie Brown, Dorothy Tansley, Margery Stevenson, Molly Hoffmeister, Stanley Vinsen," Ernest Lo Grove. Alex Peacock, Barnard .Jones, Alan Rowe, Sam Tansley, and Colin Munro. Boxplans open at tho D.I.C. next Wednesday.
