Complaint by the Pope

LONDON, December 4. The Pope deplored the predominance of jazz in wireless programmes when he received the staff of Rome Radio at the Vatican, says the Rome correspondent of the "Daily Telegraph." The Pope said: "I find it hard to get a programme of symphonic music. Instead, I usually find you playing jazz. As I get no pleasure from this, I am obliged to turn the radio * off almost as soon as I switch it on."
