REVISED LEND-LEASE
QUESTION IN THE HOUSE -
A request for an explanation of the revisions made in the lend-lease agreement as reported in a cable message from Washington recently and their effect on the Dominion was made in. the House of Representatives yesterday by Mr. K. J. "Holyoake (National, Pahiatua) in an urgent question to the Minister of Finance (Mr. Nash). Mr. Holyoake said that the cable message stated that the revised general lend-lease aid to Britain included all the Empire countries, but it was expected that further negotiations with. Australia and New Zealand would occur on their special phases. The Minister replied that it was not i possible for him to give an answer'at the present juncture, but he hoped to be able to do so before the end of the session.
