P.A. AUCKLAND, December 5.. A net profit,of £i4,T00, compared with £12,862 last year, "Is shown by the accounts of Reid New Zealand Rubber Mills, Ltd. for the year ended September 30. Tax' provisioa was £44,541. against £41,726 last year, and ' the gross profit £86.217, against £S0;»21. The directors propose an unchanged dividend ~ of 6 per cent., requiring £10,242, and leaving £4458 to carry forward, against £3S°B brought in.' The Shakespeare Society will meet at theTurnbull Library on Thursday for Shakespearean readings and to bid farewell to Mr. and Mrs. rrancis.
