CHRISTMAS CHEER
Grants to the. various organisations caring for the sick and' aged and for children and to the mothers of families are being made this1 Christmas by the Wellington branch of the N.Z Smith Family Joyspreaders. During the year the society has given a i month's holiday to many mothers, sending them to Napier, Nelson, or , some place in the country. Help has also been taken to the homes of sick mothers. In cq-operation with the women's section of the R.S.A. and the Women's Institute, the society will send a group of children.of soldiers to farms i*. Hawke's Bay for Christmas holidays. •
