£25 GIFT TO N.Z. TEMPEST SQUADRON
Rec- 9 a.m. LONDON, Dec. 4. lhe High Commissioner for New Zealand, Mr. Jordan, visited on December 2 pilots of the New Zealand Tempest Squadron in a Luftwaffe hut on what was recently a Luftwaffe airfield m Holland, and presented the squadron with a Christmas gift of £25 from , the War Savings Association. Promising a further £25 in the near future, Mr. Jordan said: "If anybody is entitled to a bit of good cheer it is you fellows who are right in among it. t
_ Mr. Jordan told the men about New Zealand's post-war rehabilitation scheme.
The Tempest wing which Mr. Jordan visited is commanded by Groun Captain P. G. Jameson. D.S.o:, D.F C of New Zealand. '
