CONFIDENCE VOTE
BIG MAJORITY EXPECTED !N CANADA
OTTAWA, December 3. The Canadian Press says it is expected that the vote of confidence in the Government will result in "so substantial a majority that the Ministry will feel itself in a position to continue its job and private members will be able-to return, to their constituencies with a real assurance -that they will not have to fight a General Election before returning to Ottawa. > Senator Lambert expressed the hope m the Senate that the Prime Minister Mr. Mackenzie King, will not hesitate to ask the House of Commons to extend its life, which otherwise ends on March 16, 1945. Senator Lambert's suggestion has caused considerable comment, because many members of the House of Commons are thinking along the same lines.
