FOUND SHOT DEAD
SIR ERIC TEICHMAN Rec. £i.50 a.m. LONDON, December 4. Sir Eric Teichman, former counsellor at the British Embassy in Chungking, and Ji noted traveller, was found shot dead early today on his Nortolk estate. He had been missing since, yesterday afternoon, when he went out -. unarmed to investigate suspected activities of poachers. . • Sir Eric Teichman was one of the Foreign Office's foremost experts on China. He was 60 years of age.
