Rec. 9 a.m. LONDON, December 4. An Associated Press dispatch from north Burma says that Chinese infantry have completed the capture of Bhamo airstrip, enabling American liaison planes to bring out! casualties. South-east Asia headquarters states that except for a few stragglers there are,no enemy troops remaining in the area west of the Chindwin and north of the Myittha River: A feature of the successful actions . elswehere in. Burma has been patrol activity and also successful air actions against Japanese targets.—U.P.A. and 8.0. W.
