WEDDING

MORICE—MCFARLAND

Wearing her mother's wedding veil and a picture frock of white organdie and carrying a bouquet of pink roses, Miss Joan Patricia McFarland, daughter of Mr. R. D. McFarland, of Hamilton, and the late Mrs. McFarland, was married at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul on Saturday afternoon to Dr. Graeme Murray Morice, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Morice, of Masterton. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Canon D. J. Davies.

The bride was attended by Miss Jeanette Ward/ of Hamilton, who also wore a white organdie picture frock and carried a bouquet of delphiniums and loye-in-the-mist, and she was given in marriage by her uncle, Mr. J. S. Hunt, of Wanaka, ' her father being ill and unable to be present. The bridegroom, who is a house surgeon at the Wellington Public Hospital, had as his best man Dr. Harold H. Francis, and the ushers at the church were Mr. W. Weir and Dr. Godfrey Goodson.

A, reception was held at the Grand Hotel, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Hunt receiving the guests.
