WELLINGTON'S EXTRA DAY
There will be three days' racing at Trentham in January, as the Wellington Racing Club's application to use its patriotic permit that month has been approved. The Cup Meeting, originally approved for two Saturdays (January 20 and 27), will now be held on January 20 and 22 (Anniversary Day), and the patriotic meeting will be held on the following Saturday, January 27. The programme for the patriotic day will be drawn up this week.
