Friendships of 60 years' standing were renewed when the Old Comrades' Association met to celebrate the eightyninth birthday of Mr. H. J. Poole at his home in Lower Hutt. Three generations of Mi. Poole's family were represented, and there were present 18 Old Comrades, including Mr. J. Cameron, who is 92 years old. The proceedings concluded with the singinr of "Auld.Lang Syne" and the National Anthem. *
