FORMAL AIR SERVICE
LONDON-PARIS TRANSPORT Rec. 1 p.m. LONDON, September 18 During the first two weeks of informal air operations between Long°n and Paris, planes of the United States • Air Transport Command carried, more than 1000 passengers from Paris and thousands of pounds of priority cargo each way, states the American Transport Command European division headquarters. With a formal service which is starting this week, with additional planes, flying time has been cut from two and a half hours to an hour and a half.
