victoria league Luncheon. Members of the Victoria League are reminded of the buffet luncheon to be held at the: clubrooms at 12.15 pm tomorrow. Object Another Ambulance. The ladies' auxiliary of the Wellington Free Ambulance is working this year to raise funds to purchase another ambulance. ,On Wednesday the auxiliary will hold a "copper trail" around the D.I.C. block, and the public is requested to give the effort [all possible support. ; Miramar Teacher Transferred. Miss A. E. Cornwall, who has recently accepted a transfer to the Wai-wnetu-School, was the recipient of the good wishes of the parents at a function arranged by the mothers, school committee, and ladies' auxiliary of the Miramar North School. Regret at her departure was expressed, and tribute paid to her teaching ability, understanding, and kindness.
