THEFT ADMITTED
Robert James, a labourer employed on * a house under construction at Karori, noticed where the key to a tool shed was kept, and last Friday, after leaving the job with others in a lorry, made an excuse that he wanted to see someone, said Detective-Sergeant J. Thompson in the Magistrate's Court today. However, said the detectivesergeant, James returned to the job and stole carpenters' tools valued at £6 7s 6d, which he later sold to a second-hand dealer for 255. James pleaded guilty to the charge of Inefj. and was sentenced by Mr. J. L. Stout, S.M., to three months' imprisonment with Viarrt labour. ■
