A married man with a family, Charles John Harris, was charged in the Lower Hutt Magistrate's Court today with being unlawfully on premises. For the police, Sub-Inspector P C. Felton stated that he had been instructed by the State Advances Corporation to ask for nn adjournment. The hearing had already been once adjourned. He explained that the prosecution had been initiated by the corporation, which was endeavouring in the meantime to find a house for Harris and his family. The charge was adjourned until June 4, Mr. E. F. Rockwell, who represented Harris, raising no objection.
