RED CROSS WORK IN ITALY
The Red Cross Commissioner of the Joint Council of the Order of St. John and the New Zealand Red Cross Society in the Middle East, has recently reported that, although our sick and wounded are located in both Italy and Egypt, all patients receive the usual care and attention from the visitors who are ably carrying out this humanitarian work. Supplies sent from New Zealand are reaching the base, and the medical authorities have complimented Major Tweedy .on the way distribution to two fronts is done, and the commissioner himself is very gratified to know that little or no pillage takes place between the Dominion, and the point of discharge.
