FIGHTER SWEEP
TARGETS IN MUNICH AREA
LONDON. April 5. American Mustangs flew deep into the heart of Germany today to attack airfields and other targets in the Munich area. They destroyed several dozen aircraft on German airfields. The Luftwaffe made no big attempt to intercept, but five German fighters were shot down in combat. Targets were, also, attacked in France.
From the day's work eight fighters are missing.
