LEAGUE OF NATIONS' WORK
Rec. 11 a.m. RUGBY. April 5. A report on the work of the League of Nations in 194243 reviews the manifold activities of the League in wartime and in preparation for the postwar period. , , The fact that the headquarters of the League were situated in Geneva has given it an opportunity of observing much of what is taking place in Europe. Its branches at Princeton, in the United States, and London bring it into direct relation with a variety of technical questions closely connected with current events and authorities of the United Nations, and new international organisations have recourse increasingly to the technical service of the League and its expert officials. — 8.0.
