Originally two galloping and a trotting meeting were set down for tomorrow, but with the restriction in rail travel in the South Island the Forbury Park Trotting Club made a postponement. The restriction in the North Island does not take effect till Monday, and the Pahiatua and Auckland Racing Clubs will proceed with their fixtures. Road transport difficulties two years ' ago forced the Pahiatua Club to aban--1 don its annual meeting, and last year it • raced at Otaki. This year the meeting is at Woodville, and the indications are that it should be successful, for the fields are of good strength.
