GROWING FORCES ENGAGED
Rec. 11 a.m. NEW DELHI, Jan. 27. The fighting on a 500-mile front ajong the Burma border appears' to be involving an increasing number of Japanese and Allied troops. British operations in the area east of Imphal were reported during the last few days,, while on the Arakan front the fighting is showing a steadily-increas-ing tempo.
