NEW LIST EXPECTED
MEN'S & WOMEN'S LINES
O.C. AUCKLAND, This Day. An amended price list is expected to be issued shortly by the Price Tribunal covering a particularly wide range of meivs, women's, and children's clothing. Wholesale soft goods firms in Auckland were advised that the amended list was not expected to come into operation until at least the middle of January, and that they need take no action until this was released. Among the garments which will be covered by the new order are: —Men's and boys' two- and three-piece suits, shorts, trousers, coats and sports coats and shirts, blazers, blouses, bathing suits and shorts, women's and girls costumes, corsetry. dressing gowns, housecoats, women's and girls' frocks, dresses and gowns, jerseys, gym frocks, infants' pilchers and petticoats of wincyette or similar material, knitted outerwear, lumber jackets, night dresses, pyjamas, underwear, overcoats, overalls, raincoats, women's skirts, shorts, and slacks. Dress piece goods in cotton, artificial silk, synthetic wool, or any mixture also will be affected. Under the heading of manchester goods the following lines will come under the new order: —Sheets, sheeting, and pillow cottc/, bleached cotton, plain white tablecloths and table napkins, cotton and flannelette blanketing and blankets, tea towels and tea towelling, drill, duck, plain white damask, calico, white, brown, or- striped towels, diaper and diaper squares, flannelette and winceyette, mareella and honeycomb quilts, linen huckaback, and tailors' trimmings and linings. Other miscellaneciis articles coming under the amended list are handkerchiefs, girls' school hats, and women's, nurses', and utility aprons in white and plain colours.
