WHISKY AT £43 A CASE
LONDON, January 20. The "Daily Telegraph" reports that whisky sold for £3 12s a bottle at a London auction sale, sold in bulk. It fetched £14 an original proof gallon in bond. Cases of one dozen bottles, in bond, realised £30, plus the duty of £13, making a total of £43 a case.
