IN U.S. NAVAL CHAPEL

CHRISTMAS WEDDING

A wedding was quietly solemnised at the U.S. Naval Chapel, Silverstream, on Sunday, December 26, when Margaret, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. G. Marple, Island Bay, Wellington, was married to Lieutenant Richard Meredith (U.S.N'.R.), twin son of Mr. and Mrs. John Ellis Jones, U.S.A. The Rev. Mr. Eckard, Ch. C, U.S.N.R., officiated.

The bride was escorted by her father and wore a smart tailored blue linen suit with off-white accessories and a shoulder spray of carnations and delphiniums. Dr. Yegerlehner (U.S.N.R.) attended the bridegroom. An informal reception at the Hotel St. George included the bride's family and close friends.

Mrs. Richard Jones will make her future home in,. America early this year.
