KILLED SAVING HIS DOG
P.A. WHANGAREI, September 21. Believed to have been attempting to rescue his small dog from the path of a falling tree during timber-felling in the Morningside bush, Omahuta, Henry George Ogle, 49, single, bushman, was caught underneath the tree and crushed to death. The tragedy was discovered after the tree had been broken up. The bushman had the body of his dog clasped in his arms. ■;'■'•
