DIRECTOR TO BE TRIED
P.A. DUNEDIN, September 15 .s. The preliminary hearing of charges of fraud against' Stanley Reginald Burns, company director, concluded in the Magistrate's Court today. Three charges of publishing false balancesheets, one charge of issuing a false statutory report, and six charges oJ false pretences were preferred againsi the accused, who pleaded not guilty and was committed to the Supreme Court for trial. ' Bail was granted in the sum of £200.
The evidence of 17 witnesses was taken during the hearing and morf than 100. exhibits were produced.
