WHAT OF COMMUNISM?

Sir,—A number of friends and myself seek guidance. We are inclined to vote Labour in the elections for the reason that we think the good they have done outweighs the harm. One vital question must be answered, however. Is Labour accepting the support of official Communism in the present fight? If not in a general sense, is this the position in some electorates? In other words, is Communism about to infiltrate into official Labour as it has done in Australia? If Labour is in any way allied with Communism myself and my friends vote National. No doubt there are thousands of people in this country who would like an answer to the question.—l am, etc.,

NEW ZEALANDER.
